Anticimex – Building trust for global pest control

A few years back we started working with Anticimex, a global pest control company. They are leaders in pest control and a trusted household name in many of their markets but now they wanted to become leaders in customer relations as well.

Step one was to develop a digital strategy for how to create a more personal dialogue with the customers. The strategy spawned a development project to bring together a fractured digital presence to a common platform for 16 markets worldwide.

A collaborative project

This complex project was carried out in close cooperation with Raw Digital – who are specialists in Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Search Engine Marketing (SEM) and digital marketing – and HiQ who built the technical solution.

The finished platform has made it easier for customers to engage in a dialogue with Anticimex and get the right help when they need it. It has also increased efficiency and alignment within the large organization.

Work includes:

  • Identifying digital opportunities, putting them together into a vision and making sure that new ideas support the overall goals.
  • A collection of design methods based on insights about human and organisational needs. It uses a holistic perspective to build or modify a network of interaction points between the customer and the service provider, to best serve them both.
  • User Experience Design is a design discipline centered around creating value for humans by creating new or changing existing products/services to better fit the customer’s needs.
  • Is the use of imagery, color, shapes, typography, and form to enhance usability and improve the user experience.

”With this project we wanted to establish a common and mobile first-solution within the Group. It was a challenge to roll out many local versions of the site during a few months, but we managed to do so thanks to an effective set up of design and function. ”
